PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing before the Town of Varick Zoning Board of Appeals will be held on Wednesday May 16, 2012 at 7 PM at the Varick Town Barn on Route 96 in Varick, NY to consider the Application for an Area Variance submitted by Upstate Cellular Network, d/b/a/ Verizon Wireless regarding area setbacks as set forth in the Town of Varick Zoning Code 3.11.3 (F) for the proposed construction of a telecommunications facility, Fayette Relo Cell Site, at the corner of Route 96 and Route 336 on Lot #3-1-34. This public hearing for an area variance is requested under section 703.2 of the Town Zoning Code.
This application is on file and open for inspection at the Town Office Zoning Board of Appeals located at the Town Barn on Route 96. Persons wishing to appear at the Hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representative. Communications in writing may be filed with the Board at the Town Office or at the Hearing.

Public Meeting
The Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Varick held a Public Meeting on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 7 PM at the Varick Town Hall Building on State Route 96.
The agenda included a regular business meeting, an internal training workshop, and a discussion on the Verizon cell phone tower Use Permit Application presented to the Varick Planning Board.
All interested persons were welcome to attend.

Permits were denied on construction of a water fountain, dock and deck which are in violation of Town of Varick Zoning Codes 306.3 and 309.1 pertaining to minimum setbacks as stated in the Town Zoning Code. This public hearing for an area variance is requested under section 703.2 of the Town Zoning Code.
